Cuticle Oil, Explained
Quick definition
Penetrating oil (usually jojoba-based) that keeps the nail zone flexible and fed.
Flexible nails bend instead of snapping; oil maintains that flexibility against washing, sanitizers and cold air. Jojoba molecules most closely match skin sebum, penetrating fastest.
Nightly oil is the single cheapest habit that measurably extends every manicure's life — including gels, by keeping surrounding skin from lifting edges.
